Join us for a fireside chat between Ben and James Walker (Serial Entrepreneur and Angel Investor) on the implications of A.I. on our world - be it from how we learn, how we work, or how the U.S. competes on the global stage and projects our national security.
Today's knowledge workers have access to more information to support decision-making than all previous generations combined.
Whether it be in finance, media, legal, academic research, intelligence, or just about any vertical, analysts spend countless hours collecting, de-duplicating, reading, and summarizing thousands of documents to find hidden insights.
However, the fact that this is happening doesn't necessarily mean that better decisions are being made. Due to human attention and memory limitations, analysts often reduce the corpus of data they analyze or skim past important pieces. These human limitations lead analysts to miss the context that could mean closing a legal case faster, making money in a new investment, or saving a life on the front line.
After seeing these problems firsthand at Primer A.I., Ben has deployed A.I. and natural language processing (NLP) to augment knowledge workers in national security, finance, media, and legal organizations.
James will interview Ben to better understand the impact of A.I. and NLP in these situations, and hopefully provide you with some ideas for how A.I. might help you achieve more success in your career.
And, as usual, this is a fabulous opportunity to network with fellow Badgers, and enjoy some beer, wine, and snacks (courtesy Mark Reinstra/Wilson Sonsini).
